To sell Real Estate in the state of California, you must first obtain a Real Estate License from the California Department of Real Estate. Here's what prospective licensees must do:
Be a minimum of 18 years of age Show Proof of Legal Presence in U.S. Be totally honest and truthful. A crime conviction on your record could result in the denial of a license Show proof of successful completion of a 3-semester-unit or 4-quarter-unit college-level course in Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice and the successful completion of one additional 3-semester-unit or 4-quarter-unit college-level real estate course.
